Calling All Captains are an alternative punk/rock band from Edmonton, Alberta, known for blending post-hardcore grit with the melodic urgency of pop-punk. Vocalist Luc Gauthier, guitarists Connor Dawkins and Brad Bremner, and drummer Tim Wilson have built their sound around raw honesty and emotional intensity, connecting deeply with fans who have followed the band through years of relentless touring and evolution. Their music is volatile, vulnerable, and built on trust—with each other and their community.
The band has carved out a reputation across North America through multiple Canadian and U.S. headline tours, major festival appearances, and a steady climb in streaming numbers. Their previous releases have earned millions of streams worldwide, with tracks landing on key editorial playlists across Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon. Socially, they’ve built a dedicated fan base that stays engaged through high-energy live shows, grassroots marketing, and direct online interaction. Past singles have received organic moderate college and commercial radio support in Canada, establishing CAC as a reliable draw for programmers looking for emotionally charged alternative rock with wide appeal.
On January 9, 2026, Calling All Captains will release their most personal and sonically refined EP yet, The Things That I’ve Lost, via New Damage Records. Produced in Edmonton with longtime collaborator Quinn Cyrankiewicz and mastered by Stuart McKillop, the EP includes “A New Type of Grey,” an anthem for the unheard. Ahead of the release, the band is embarking on a cross-Canada tour in fall 2025, followed by plans for international touring in 2026. With new music, powerful live shows, and growing momentum, CAC are positioned to make their biggest impact yet both on the road and on the airwaves.
