    Our commitment

    Each of us at Yangaroo is committed to building and sustaining an equitable and inclusive work environment where cultural diversity is celebrated and valued. We believe diversity benefits and enriches the development our products and allows us to deliver the best possible service to our customers.

    Staff and Suppliers

    At Yangaroo, we believe that now more than ever, there is great need for businesses to increase diverse representation, build greater inclusion, drive positive change, and ensure accountability. We already have a truly diverse and inclusive organization, and by making DEI a strategic priority, we take ownership of obstacles and design opportunities to continue evolving. At Yangaroo we look at Diversity in two ways: inward and outward.

    LOOKING INWARD

    Looking inward is Yangaroo’s internal DEI program that supports the company culture, attracts diverse talent, and relates to customers who share the same values. We focus on our internal culture to develop inclusiveness and equality. We will be sharing information, stories, training modules, and staff highlights to celebrate us and encourage connection. Our goal for doing this is simple: promote a company culture where we feel confident to bring our whole selves to work.

    LOOKING OUTWARD

    Looking outward, we are proactively seeking diverse organizations as suppliers. Our goal is to;
    [1] identify and increase sourcing from Diversity Suppliers where possible and relevant (buying goods and services from companies who are certified as diversity suppliers).
    [2] Engage in local and national events that allow diverse suppliers an opportunity to promote their business to Yangaroo.
    [3] Establish realistic goals to increase $ and % spend on diverse suppliers annually.
    [4] Create an internal database of diverse suppliers for business consideration

    We are working toward a future that is more diverse, equitable, and inclusive. We cannot achieve any of these without embedding these pillars as fundamental principles and practices across our work.

    Provide an inclusive workplace culture that recognizes and values all backgrounds, voices, roles, and contributions.

    Hold ourselves accountable for developing diverse and inclusive teams, making decisions equitably and transparently, and modeling inclusive behaviors.

    Foster practices to help us build a culturally diverse workforce, empowered and supported to perform at our highest potential.

    Achieve impact within our communities by participating in local and national events that allow diverse suppliers an opportunity to promote their business to Yangaroo.
