Founded in 2018 by producer Skylar-J and vocalist Vex, SUB:OM now operates as a four-piece performance unit, and subtly follows in the footsteps of electro-alternative acts like The Cure blended with Alternative Rock acts like A Perfect Circle and Muse. However, their sound fearlessly veers off in a refreshingly original direction, thanks to a fusion of influences from rock to metal to industrial EDM. The result is a distinctly hypnotic downpour of layers, organic and otherwise, all united amidst a clear sense of passion and purpose. Appealing to fans of hard rock, shoegaze, psychedelic electronica, doom rock, and all that falls in between.
