YANGAROO Music – Indie Spotlight Song Contest

We’re looking for the best new independent song for Canadian radio, and a panel of professional radio programmers are going to choose it live at an exclusive ticket-only event at the Sheraton Hotel on May 10th, 2019.

How to enter (completely free, no catch or obligations):

Submit your one mastered, radio ready song before April 29th, 2019 via YANGAROO Music by selecting the free destination titled Indie Spotlight Submissions.

Complete your release and your song will be considered!

How it works:

A select few finalists in the categories Country, Hip Hop/R&B, Pop, and Rock/Alt will be played live at the YANGAROO Music Indie Spotlight event on May 10th, the radio panel will provide feedback, select a winner in each category, and ultimately the grand prize winner.

What you get:

All finalists will receive a 25% discount to use for their next release to radio on YANGAROO Music, and the grand prize winner will receive a complimentary Single release to radio across the country.

Qualifications:

All entrants must be able to attend, or have a representative attend, the event on May 10th at 2pm at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Toronto to be eligible. All entrants must not be formally associated with any of the three major record companies (including distro deals).

Submissions close on April 30th, 2019.
Finalists will be announced by May 3rd, 2019.
