YANGAROO Partners with Nimbus School of Recording & Media

Nimbus School of Recording and Media is very pleased to announce their partnership with YANGAROO, the industry’s leading secure digital delivery service for music and music video to broadcasters and other destinations.

YANGAROO’s Digital Media Distribution System (DMDS), will provide their student-run record label, Business Class Records (BCR), with digital distribution of songs and music videos to radio stations and media outlets across North America, e.g. MTV/VH1, Revolt, BET, MuchMusic, MusiquePlus, Fuse, Music Choice, CMT, GAC, plus all major, secondary and college radio formats – all as a donation to the school.

In addition to distribution, YANGAROO will set up BCR as an independent label and provide training on how to schedule releases, choose destinations and receive real-time reporting.

“Nimbus is the first school to partner with YANGAROO,” said Cliff Hunt, YANGAROO Vice Chairman and COO. “We are very happy to contribute to the school. With its own independent record label, and the ongoing production of radio-ready singles, the school is creating a unique experience for students, and we are pleased to be a part of it.”

“Our goal is to ensure that all our students have access to technology at the forefront of the music and media industry,” said Nimbus co-founder Bob Ezrin. “We are pleased to be able to offer our students access to this industry leading platform and look forward to working with YANGAROO.”

Thanks to YANGAROO, Nimbus students will benefit from even more hands-on, real world experience and be able to easily distribute singles and music videos via BCR to expand their reach into the North American media market.
